THE SHORT ANSWER
A sponsored Instagram feed post typically pays $5 – $10 per 1,000 followers. A creator with 10,000 followers can ask around $50 – $100, one with 50,000 around $250 – $500. Where a creator lands inside that range depends on engagement and niche, not on the follower count.
Two creators with the same audience size are not worth the same. In our benchmark study the median engagement rate at 10,000 to 30,000 followers is 0.63% in Business and 1.90% in Lifestyle. A brand paying per follower pays three times as much per real reaction in one niche as in the other.

02Engagement
median → top 10%
of your niche and size
Measured on the last 12 public posts and compared across 53,162 accounts. The niche median earns the middle, the top 10% the top.

Story 30%–50% of a post
Same guide. A Reel takes more work, a Story disappears after 24 hours.
The guide says engagement and niche move the price, but not by how much. The straight line from median to top 10% is our model. The result covers an organic post. Usage rights for ads, exclusivity and production costs come on top.
